When a Lodge orders in bulk
Four occasions call for a Lodge order. An officer line at installation, where each officer gets the same piece with his own name and office. A degree night, where a Lodge might keep a stock of one gift for every Brother it raises. An anniversary dinner, where every Brother at the table takes home a glass with the Lodge name and the founding year. And a charity golf tournament, where the player gift is a towel with the Lodge name and number. Each works the same way through Etsy.
Step one: choose the piece and count
Pick one piece for the run so the layout is identical across it. For an officer line, the personalized whiskey glass or wine glass suits the line, with the plaque for the Worshipful Master. For degree nights, the same glass or the Master Mason tee. For an anniversary, the glass with the Lodge name and year. For a tournament, the personalized golf towel. Count the Brothers and add two spares; a late entry or a misremembered name is easier to cover from a spare than from a second order.
Step two: send the list
Message the shop on Etsy before you place the order. Send the details in this shape, one line per Brother:

The shop confirms the layout and the processing time for the quantity, and flags anything that will not fit, such as a long Lodge name on a glass. Then you order on Etsy. For a run of more than a dozen, the shop may set up a single listing for the batch so the whole order is one checkout.
Step three: order on Etsy
Every order, bulk or single, is placed and paid for on Etsy, which gives the Lodge one order record, tracking and receipts for the Treasurer. Type each Brother’s line into the personalization box, or, for a batch listing, reference the message. There is no minimum and no separate wholesale process; the message step is what keeps a run consistent.
Step four: allow time
Personalized pieces are made to order, one at a time. Take the processing time shown on the listing, add the shipping estimate for the Lodge’s address, and add two weeks for a run of six or more. Installation dates and tournament dates do not move, so order as soon as the officer line is known. Most pieces are made and shipped in the United States. If the date is close, the ready-made pieces on the category pages ship fastest, and the personalized pieces can follow for presentation at the next stated meeting.
Who pays, and receipts
The Lodge Treasurer or Secretary can place the order from the Lodge’s own Etsy account, or from his own with the Lodge reimbursing on the Etsy receipt. Etsy emails a receipt for each order, which is what the Treasurer files. For a run split across two orders, message the shop so both are set up with the same layout.
What not to send
