Meet Upon The Level
Jewelry & leather

Masonic jewelry and leather goods

The pieces that go with him every day: the ring, the cufflinks, the wallet, the keys.

A Mason’s jewelry is quiet by tradition. The ring is small, the cufflinks only show when the jacket comes off, and the wallet is seen by nobody but him. That is the point. These pieces are for the Brother himself more than for the room, and they are the ones that get worn for years.

The signet ring is the one to read carefully: it runs in sizes 6, 7 and 8, the classic pinky-ring range, so measure the little finger before ordering. The cufflinks come in gold plate or stainless steel and are the finishing touch for installation night. The leather pieces are vegan leather with the emblem engraved into the grain, revealing gold beneath.

Choosing for him

For a newly raised Brother. The signet ring is the first ring, and a mentor or the Worshipful Master may present one on the night. If you would rather not guess a ring size, the engraved bifold or the journal is the safe choice, and the Raising Set bundles all three for less than buying them separately.

For the officer line. Cufflinks and the necktie are the two pieces that work under a tux or a dark suit at installation. The tie is a fine lattice in muted gold on navy: it reads as a pattern from across the room and as the emblem up close.

For the traveling Brother. Luggage tag, passport holder and card holder are the trio for the Brother who visits Lodges out of state. The tag makes the case easy to spot on the carousel, and the passport holder keeps the dues card in the same place as the passport.

How the leather pieces are made

The wallet, journal and card holder are vegan leather with a textured grain. The square and compasses are laser-engraved through the black surface to a gold layer beneath, so the emblem is part of the material rather than printed on top of it. They wear in rather than wear out. Most pieces are made and shipped in the United States, and each listing shows its processing time before you buy.

Questions

Before you order

How do I find the right signet ring size?

The ring runs in sizes 6, 7 and 8, which are little-finger sizes. Measure the finger he will wear it on with a jeweler’s sizer or a paper strip against a printed ring chart. If he is between sizes, choose the larger one. If his size is outside 6 to 8, choose the bifold or the journal instead.

Are the cufflinks solid gold?

No. They are offered in gold plate over a base metal or in stainless steel, both with the same engraved-line square and compasses. The stainless option is the harder-wearing of the two.

Is the leather real?

The wallet, journal, card holder, luggage tag and passport holder are vegan leather with a textured finish. The emblem is engraved, not stamped.

Where are the pieces made and shipped from?

Most pieces are made and shipped in the United States. Each Etsy listing shows the current processing time and the shipping options for your address before you buy.

Is Meet Upon The Level connected to a Grand Lodge?

No. Meet Upon The Level is an independent shop run by a Freemason for Brethren and their families. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any Grand Lodge, and every order is placed and paid for through Etsy.
